2016 Nissan Murano is Best 2-Row SUV again

U.S. News & World Report recently named the Nissan Murano one of the year’s “Best Cars for the Money.” This is the second year in a row that it has won the “Best 2-Row SUV” category. The awards are being handed out this week at the Chicago Auto Show.

The editors who picked the Murano had this to say: “The Nissan Murano’s interior is so upscale, that the fact that it’s a value leader in its class may surprise some people. The passenger cabin wouldn’t look out of place in a luxury SUV, the seats are ridiculously comfortable, and all of the tech features are user-friendly. When you take all of those strengths together, however, it’s not hard to see why the Murano is a winner for both buyers and their budgets.”

U.S. News & World Report clearly has a thing for the Murano’s interior. So what does the Nissan Murano have in it that other crossovers, even luxury ones, don’t?

Zero Gravity Seats

Nissan claims its NASA-inspired seats are a giant leap for mankind, and it’s one that other crossover SUV manufacturers haven’t made yet. These comfy seats are designed to simulate the weightlessness of outer space, so you’ll never feel tired, even on a long journey.

Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection

The Murano doesn’t just offer a rearview camera for backing up. It gives you a 360-degree bird’s eye view of your vehicle and what’s around it. Now parking and maneuvering around in tight spaces are much easier and safer.

Rear USB port with smartphone interface

Why should only front-seat passengers have all the fun and connectivity? In the Murano, back-seat passengers get their own USB port to plug in smartphones, play music and control it from where they sit.

Social car

It’s no wonder people feel so at home inside the Murano. With its premium interior and communication alley, it’s the most social car Nissan has ever made. It’s specially designed for comfortable interaction between the front and back, so everyone feels like the guest of honor.
