Services to have performed on your vehicle before a winter road trip

Cold weather can affect a variety of your vehicle’s key components, so it’s important to have a few things checked or serviced before hitting the open road. You’ll first want to make sure your vehicle is up-to-date on its regular maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations. You’ll also want to check all of your fluid levels, such as antifreeze, wiper fluid, and coolant, and top them off. Finally, you may want to consider bringing your vehicle into a service center or dealership to have your battery tested, tire pressure adjusted, and heating system checked. Once you’ve completed that, all you’ll have left to do is pack your winter roadside emergency kit and hit the road!
