What is NissanConnect?
NissanConnect is an integrated audio, navigation, and communication system that connects your smartphone to your dashboard display system to enhance your driving experience while helping minimize distractions and keep you safe. NissanConnect allows you to stream your music wirelessly via Bluetooth, listen to music with apps like Pandora and iHeart Radio. For navigation features you can search google to find a destination, say or type a word to find what you are looking for, get traffic updates with alternative route suggestions and find the lowest fuel prices in your area. Of course NissanConnect also allows for hands-free communication by answering or making phone calls and sending text messages.
NissanConnect Services which is powered by SiriusXM is a new feature which allows Nissan owners to access information, stay connected to their vehicle and get assistance when they need it. From the NissanConnect Services web portal or mobile app, you can lock/unlock your doors, flash your lights, honk the horn, and remote engine start/stop. It also has a number of safety features such as, automatic collision notification, emergency calling, roadside assistance and stolen vehicle locator. If you are a parent of teenagers, one feature that you may particularly like is the curfew and speed alert. It allows you to set specific times that the vehicle should not be driven and certain speeds that the vehicle should not be going over, if any of these are violated the owner will receive a notification.
NissanConnect is a great feature to help minimize distractions while we are driving and makings listening to music, navigation and talking on the phone more convenient and easy to use than ever.
