Juking Through A Crowded Field

2014 Nissan Juke Dayton, OH

The 2014 Nissan Juke in Dayton, OH is a driver’s car. Not made to haul a lot of people or things, the Juke was designed for one thing, fun driving. It’s pretty apparent with its garish exterior, curved and jutting in some of the oddest places, looking more like a frog than any car we’ve ever seen, that Nissan wanted this vehicle to be all about looks and feels, practicality being thrown to the curb.

Speedy Spirit, Sporty Handling

With the base model rocking a 1.6 L Inline 4-cylinder engine, the Juke produces 188 hp at 5600 rpm. That much power in this Nissan’s little frame helps to rocket it through traffic, and paired with the tight handling, it zooms around curves and turns with reckless abandon. And while it’s not the most comfortable drive, and can get a little loud, its sporty breed lends itself to a kind of screaming romp around town.

A Mini Monster of a Car

The back seats fold down, allowing for a little over 36 cubic feet of storage in the trunk, and while this is no means the largest space in a vehicle of this class, it’s still not bad for what the Juke was designed for, which was power and driving. That’s not to say the interior isn’t nice and well designed. A little heavy on plastic, but the look and feel of the car’s insides are pretty snazzy. The top trim, the NISJuke SideviewMO, actually takes out the regular front seats for sports seats as the NISMO produces a bit more power and is built for even better handling.

All this power and the gas mileage is still pretty decent at 27 mpg city and 32 mpg hwy. Add to the generally low price range for vehicles in its class, and if you’re just looking for a driving experience, the 2014 Nissan Juke in Dayton, OH might just be a steal. A pretty outrageous car from Japan that happily slices up the roads in the Ohio Valley, you would be well off investing in this little monster of a car.
