How to connect to Nissan’s Bluetooth® system

Connecting to Nissan’s Bluetooth® system

It’s surprisingly simple to connect to Nissan’s Bluetooth® system. Both Apple and Android devices are compatible with the system, so take a look below at our step-by-step instructions for connecting both types of smartphones to Nissan’s Bluetooth® system.

Connecting the iPhone to Nissan’s Bluetooth System

  1. Open your iPhone’s settings and turn Bluetooth® on.
  2. If your Nissan is equipped with navigation, press the Phone button on the audio system, then select Connect, then Connect New Device. If your Nissan is not equipped with navigation, press the Enter/Setting button on the audio system, then choose Bluetooth, and then select Add Phone.
  3. Go to your iPhone’s settings, choose Bluetooth®, and select MY-CAR to pair your device.
  4. Confirm that the pin shown on your Nissan’s display and on your iPhone are the same.

Connecting an Android to Nissan’s Bluetooth System

  1. Open your Android’s settings and make sure Bluetooth® functionality is turned on
  2. If your Nissan is equipped with navigation, press the Phone button on the audio system, then select Connect and then select Connect New Device. If your Nissan does not have navigation, press the Enter/Setting button on the audio system, then choose Bluetooth, and then select Add Phone.
  3. Go to your Android’s Bluetooth® settings and choose Scan for Devices. You will then want to connect to MY-CAR.
  4. Check that the passkey displayed on your vehicle and your device match. If so, select yes.
