Even with that much power and torque, the V6 engine is still capable of offering a highly efficient 22 city/32 highway and 26 combined mpg rating. Helping both of the engines in the 2017 Nissan Altima achieve such incredible fuel economy ratings is Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission. This high-tech engine helps hold the ideal rpm for efficient cruising and power when you need it.
