We can get a great idea of the included equipment from this table. The S is a basic trim at a great price. Don’t let this list fool you; it comes with an impressive list of standard equipment. Besides all of the latest standard creature comforts you’ve come to expect from Nissan, it also includes things like LED daytime running lights, Eco Mode, RearView Monitor, Advanced Drive-Assist Display and the Divide-N-Hide cargo system. Buyers on a budget will not be disappointed with this trim level.

Next up is the SV trim, which adds a surprising amount of extras for a very modest increase in price. For only $1,450 more, you get 17-inch alloy wheels, Nissan Intelligent Key, automatic temperature control and a six-way driver’s seat. That’s in addition to smart auto headlights, roof rails, rear privacy glass, more speakers and tons of available accessories. You also get the option of adding the SV Moonroof Package or SV Premium Package, which aren’t available to S buyers.

Family Package

A great feature of the more-affordable S and SV trims that isn’t actually available on the SL model is the Family Package. This gives the Rogue a third-row split fold-down bench seat that increases the total seating capacity from five to seven. It could be the deciding factor for growing families.

Let’s talk about that SL model. What do you get in the top-of-the-line Rogue? In addition to the 18-inch alloy wheels, NissanConnect with navigation and mobile apps, Around View Monitor and leather-appointed seats, you get fog lights, heated mirrors, power liftgate, Quick Comfort heated seats, Bose sound system and access to all of the driver assistance features. If you’ve got to have it all, this is the way to go. But remember, seating will be limited to five passengers only.
