2017 Nissan Murano Around View Monitor

How does Nissan’s Intelligent Around View Monitor work?

It can be tough to keep up with new vehicle features as technologies get more and more advanced. Nissan is one of the leaders of safety innovations in the automotive world, and one of our favorite Nissan safety innovations is the Intelligent Around View Monitor, which gives drivers a bird’s eye view of their vehicle. Read on to see how this great innovation works!

Nissan’s Intelligent Around View Monitor

Nissan’s Intelligent Around View Monitor uses four cameras to give drivers a bird’s eye view of their vehicle to aid them with parking. The four cameras are located at the front, back and sides of the vehicle, and they feed into an image processing unit to be converted to a bird’s eye view image as if you’re looking down at the top of the Nissan.

The Intelligent Around View Monitor was designed to help drivers park with ease by allowing them to confirm that the Nissan is within the parking lanes in the lot or on the street. The driver can also simultaneously view the front and rear cameras, which is extremely helpful when parallel parking.
